Home sweet home again! This is what I wish for everyone, to be able to have a safe home and be with the ones they love. I realize everyone has their opinions about what is going on with separating immigrant families that cross the border illegally and it gets everyone fired up but everyone needs to put themselves in another’s shoes and think about what they would do if they were in a dire, dangerous situation. I can compare it to being in a dangerous, abusive relationship and having to have an action plan to escape with no money and limited resources. I have always been a humanitarian at heart and sometimes in desperate situations, I believe the law needs to be flexible and care. I couldn’t write a new blog without addressing this and voicing my opinion. What really needs to change is the legal process to become a citizen legally as I know it is very expensive and if you don’t have the resources and money it is super difficult. I know many will disagree with me on this issue but imagine your own family having to go through this.
